Behavior

Rabbits are extremely complex creatures and have a range of daily communications that we sometimes seem to miss. Want to know what your bunny seems to be communicating to you? Read the list below we've compiled to help you work on your Bunny Social Skills 101.

Growling
This is usually a sign of aggression and anger. Rabbit may lunge and bite, growling fiercely. If rabbit is not neutered, this can be a bi-product of territorial aggression and therefore can be difficult to stop. If rabbit however is neutered, this behaviour may have been triggered by a range of different things such as; strange sounds and smells,

Honking
This can be perceived as both a positive and a negative action dependant on the situation at hand.

Thudding/Thumping

Teeth Grinding
This can be perceived as a rabbit's attempt at purring - especially if they're being petted at the same time. Rabbits when feeling content and safe, will gnaw down gently on their own teeth.

Snorting
