FAQ

Got any questions that you desperately need an answer for? Drop me a message on my Facebook page; www.facebook.com/therabbitcave and I will get around to answering them as soon as I can.

Q. Are rabbits difficult to look after?
A. Not if you've done your homework, always read up on different care techniques whenever you have the time to sharpen you ever-growing knowledge bank and also to grab some new ideas that may work for you. Rabbits will never be completely considered as 'easy pets' though as they require constant care and a watchful eye - especially when it comes to health.

Q. How much does it cost to keep rabbits?
A. It's dependant upon what you want to feed them in terms of quality, quantity and budget. With my four rabbits I will spend circa £50 a month on keeping them, although I've found it cheaper to house them indoors rather than a hutch outside.

Q. How long to rabbits live for?
A. It depends on breed, size, ect. Generally speaking they can live for about 5-8 years mostly. So make sure that if you're looking to adopt or buy one, that you're ready for the commitment.

Q. Help my rabbit hates me! What do I do?
A. Your rabbit doesn't hate you - it's scared of you. I would strongly suggest to take the time to do some research on how to bond with your bunny and get it used to your presence. Bear in mind though, most rabbits hate being picked up and will always see themselves at prey animals on some level.
